Jobber Alternative

The Jobber Alternative That Finds You The Work, Not Just Manages It

Jobber is a strong job management platform. But quoting, scheduling and invoicing all start after a customer has already chosen you. Obravetta covers that same ground and adds the part that comes first — the website, the missed-call text back, the follow-up, the review requests — without charging per seat or selling marketing as an add-on.

The Short Answer

Obravetta is an all-in-one platform for home service businesses that combines job management with customer acquisition. Plans are $27/mo for 1 user, $97/mo for up to 3, and $297/mo for unlimited users, with email and text marketing, a website builder, automated follow-up, missed-call text back and review automation included at every tier.

Jobber starts at $49/mo month-to-month for one user ($29/mo if you prepay a year), charges $29/mo per additional user, and sells its Marketing Suite as a $99/mo add-on. Automated follow-up begins on Connect, and two-way texting and custom automations begin on Grow.

Jobber remains the better pick if your priority is field operations depth — job costing, time tracking, crew dispatch and its integrations marketplace. Obravetta is the better pick if your problem is not enough jobs coming in.

Side By Side On Price

Published list prices as of October 2026. Jobber shows three prices per tier depending on commitment — month-to-month, one-year commitment, and annual prepay. We've listed month-to-month first because that's the honest apples-to-apples number against a month-to-month Obravetta plan.

Monthly list price, month-to-month billing. Annual prepay in parentheses.

Obravetta annual billing charges for ten months instead of twelve; the parenthetical is that annual total divided by twelve. Jobber figures are from Jobber's published pricing page. Both companies change pricing — verify current rates on each company's own site before you buy. Payment processing is billed separately by both platforms.

The Difference Isn't Price. It's Where The Software Starts.

This is the part a feature checklist hides. Both platforms will quote, schedule, invoice and take a card. They're built around different moments in the job.

Jobber Starts At "You Got The Call"

Jobber is job management. The workflow assumes a customer has already found you, already called, and already picked you. From there it's excellent: quote, schedule, dispatch, track time, cost the job, invoice, collect.

Marketing sits outside that core. The Marketing Suite is a $99/mo add-on, the AI Receptionist is $29/mo, and the lead Pipeline is $49/mo. Buy all three on Grow with five seats and you're at $476/mo month-to-month.

Obravetta Starts At "Someone Searched"

Obravetta covers the same job management ground, then adds the acquisition layer underneath it as standard: a website built to convert, missed-call text back, automated follow-up sequences, email and text campaigns, and review requests that fire when a job closes.

  • Missed-call text back — the caller gets a text within seconds, from your number
  • Automated follow-up — included on the $27 plan, not gated two tiers up
  • Review automation — requests go out on job completion
  • Unified inbox — text, email, web chat, Facebook and Google messages in one thread
  • Flat seat pricing — Pro is unlimited users at $297/mo

When Jobber Is The Better Choice

We'd rather you pick the right tool than switch and regret it. Jobber is the stronger fit if:

  • Your crews are your cost center. If labor hours, timesheets and job costing to the dollar are what you need to control, Jobber's field operations tooling is deeper than ours.
  • You already have all the work you can handle. If your phone rings on its own and your problem is throughput, not lead flow, you're paying us for a layer you won't use.
  • You need native QuickBooks Online sync. Ours runs through an integration; theirs is built in from Connect up.
  • You depend on a specific marketplace app. They have over 100. Check that yours exists on our side before you move.
  • Expense capture and profit alerts matter. That's a Jobber Plus feature we don't match.

If you read that list and none of it described you — but "I need more jobs coming in" did — that's the conversation we're built for.

What Switching Actually Looks Like

1. Export Your Data

Pull your client list, job history and open invoices out of Jobber as CSV. Everything in your account is yours to export.

2. Import & Rebuild

We import clients and contacts, rebuild your pipeline stages, and set up your calendar and booking links. On Pro, we do the whole build for you.

3. Run Both For Two Weeks

Keep Jobber live while you learn ours. Your trial is 14 days and there's no contract on either side, so overlapping costs you one month at worst.

Open invoices are the one thing worth care. Finish collecting those in Jobber rather than migrating them mid-cycle, and start new billing in Obravetta. Historical job records import as records, not as live jobs.

Jobber Alternative Questions

Is Obravetta cheaper than Jobber?

It depends entirely on seat count and whether you need marketing tools. At one user, Obravetta is $27/mo against Jobber Core at $49/mo month-to-month. At three users, Obravetta Growth is $97/mo against roughly $197/mo for a comparable Jobber Connect setup. At five users on Jobber's annual prepay, Jobber Connect at $149/mo is cheaper than Obravetta Pro at $247.50/mo — but Connect has no two-way texting, no custom automations and no marketing suite, and adding the Marketing Suite puts it at $248/mo. Past ten users Obravetta's flat pricing pulls clearly ahead, because we don't charge per seat on Pro.

Can Obravetta do everything Jobber does?

Not quite, and we'd rather say so. Quoting, invoicing, payments, scheduling, dispatch, online booking and customer management are comparable. Jobber is stronger on job costing, automatic time tracking, crew scheduling, native QuickBooks Online sync, expense capture with profit alerts, and the size of its integrations marketplace. Obravetta is stronger on lead capture, missed-call text back, automated follow-up, email and text marketing, review automation, multi-channel inbox and AI answering — and all of those are included rather than sold as add-ons.

Does Jobber charge per user?

Yes. Jobber's published pricing lists additional users at $29/mo each, and its plan prices are quoted by seat band — one, five, ten or fifteen users. Obravetta Starter is one seat and Growth is up to three, but Contractor Pro at $297/mo covers unlimited team members with no per-seat charge.

Why is Jobber's advertised price lower than what I was quoted?

Jobber lists three prices for each tier: month-to-month, a one-year commitment, and annual prepay. The lowest number — $29/mo for Core — is the annual prepay figure for a single user. Month-to-month on the same tier is $49/mo. Add-ons are separate: Marketing Suite $99/mo, Pipeline $49/mo, AI Receptionist $29/mo. This isn't unique to Jobber; most platforms in this category advertise the annual rate.

How hard is it to move from Jobber to Obravetta?

Clients and contacts import from a CSV export, which is usually the same afternoon. Rebuilding automations and pipeline stages takes longer because they don't transfer between platforms — on Contractor Pro we build those for you as part of setup. Most businesses run both systems in parallel for a couple of weeks. Neither platform requires a contract, so an overlap costs you one extra month at most.

What trades does Obravetta work with?

Over 130, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, drywall, landscaping, remodeling, general contracting, cleaning, pest control, pressure washing, painting and tree service. The platform isn't built around a single trade's workflow, which is part of why it fits businesses that run more than one service line.

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?

Yes — the 14-day free trial starts from a checkout page, so a card is collected up front and you aren't billed until day 15. You can cancel inside the trial at any point and you won't be charged.

Try It Against Your Own Numbers

Fourteen days is long enough to see whether the follow-up automation actually books jobs you were losing. Keep Jobber running while you find out.
