FieldEdge doesn't publish pricing, doesn't offer a free trial, sells on annual memberships, and caps you at two mobile app licenses on its entry plan. Obravetta is $27, $97 or $297 a month, month-to-month, with fourteen days free before you commit to anything.
Obravetta is an all-in-one platform for home service businesses. Plans are $27/mo for 1 user, $97/mo for up to 3, and $297/mo for unlimited users, month-to-month, with a 14-day free trial and marketing tools included at every tier.
FieldEdge has three tiers — Select, Premier and Elite — and does not publish pricing; each one says "Request Pricing." Select includes 2 mobile app licenses, Premier 4, and Elite 6. Its FAQ says pricing varies by technician count and chosen add-ons. Those add-ons — Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge, the Consumer Management Portal and Academy — are "Call for Pricing" on Select and Premier and included only on Elite. The page references annual memberships, says downgrades take effect at the end of the contract period, and states no free trial is offered.
FieldEdge is the better pick if you run QuickBooks Desktop and need warehouse inventory tied to it. Obravetta is the better pick if you want to try the software before you sign a year.

We've published no FieldEdge dollar figures because FieldEdge doesn't. If you request a quote, get the add-on prices in the same document as the plan price — four of the features most people assume are standard are "Call for Pricing" on the two lower tiers, and the contract is annual.
Most platforms in this category offer somewhere between seven and thirty days to test the product. FieldEdge's own FAQ says no free trial is offered, and its plans are annual memberships where a downgrade only takes effect at the end of the contract period.
So the sequence is: demo, quote, sign, then find out whether your techs will actually use it. Every plan does include an onboarding specialist, which helps — but it's still a year-long decision made on a sales call.
Fourteen days inside the real product, then month-to-month. If your crew won't use it, you find that out in week one for the cost of nothing, and you leave.
This isn't a criticism of FieldEdge. It's the due-diligence point we'd want someone to raise with us, and it matters more here than anywhere else in this comparison because of what FieldEdge is built around.
FieldEdge's deepest advantage is its QuickBooks Desktop integration. Its warehouse inventory feature, on the Elite tier, explicitly requires QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with Advanced Inventory. If that integration is why you're buying, your field service software is tied to your accounting platform's roadmap.
Intuit runs a rolling discontinuation policy for Desktop versions. Per Intuit's own published policy, QuickBooks Desktop 2023 versions stopped getting support after 31 May 2026 — which ends live support and security updates, and also stops Desktop Payroll, Desktop Payments and online bank feeds on those versions.
It does not mean QuickBooks Desktop is going away. Intuit's policy page says it will continue supporting subscription renewals for existing Desktop Plus customers, and it points customers toward Enterprise. Plenty of contractors will run Desktop happily for years.
What it means is that a FieldEdge annual membership and your QuickBooks Desktop edition are now two dated commitments pointing at each other. Before you sign, confirm your edition's support horizon with Intuit and ask FieldEdge in writing what happens to the integration if you move to QuickBooks Online.
Obravetta has no horse in this race and no equivalent strength — our QuickBooks support runs through an integration aimed at QuickBooks Online, which is weaker than FieldEdge's Desktop integration today. We're raising it because an annual contract plus a platform dependency is worth ten minutes of checking, whichever way you decide.

If none of that is your situation, and what you actually need is more work coming in — that's the gap we fill, and you can test it for two weeks without signing anything.

FieldEdge doesn't publish pricing. Its page lists Select, Premier and Elite, each with a "Request Pricing" option, and its FAQ says pricing varies based on the number of technicians or employees and the add-ons chosen. Proposal Pro, MarketingEdge, the Consumer Management Portal and Academy are listed as "Call for Pricing" on Select and Premier, and included on Elite. We don't publish an estimate for them because we can't source one. Obravetta is $27, $97 or $297 a month.
No. Their pricing page states that no free trial is offered. Every plan includes an onboarding specialist, knowledge base access and an invitation to their Field Services Academy, but there's no way to use the product before buying. Obravetta has a 14-day free trial on every plan.
Their page references annual memberships for Select, Premier and Elite. You can upgrade at any time, but downgrades only take effect at the end of the current contract period. Obravetta is month-to-month, and you can change or cancel a plan whenever you like.
Two on Select, four on Premier and six on Elite. Additional mobile app licenses are offered on Premier, with the cost not listed. In Obravetta, mobile access is included for every team member on your plan, with no separate licence count — and Contractor Pro covers unlimited team members.
Its strongest integration is with QuickBooks Desktop, and its warehouse inventory feature on the Elite tier explicitly requires QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with Advanced Inventory. That's worth knowing because Intuit runs a rolling discontinuation policy for Desktop versions — per Intuit's own published policy, QuickBooks Desktop 2023 versions stopped getting support after 31 May 2026, which also ends Desktop Payroll, Desktop Payments and online bank feeds on those versions. This does not mean QuickBooks Desktop is being discontinued; Intuit says it will keep supporting subscription renewals for existing Desktop Plus customers. But if you're signing a FieldEdge annual membership on the strength of that integration, confirm your edition's support horizon with Intuit first, and ask FieldEdge what happens if you move to QuickBooks Online.
FieldEdge is field service management with a particular strength in QuickBooks Desktop integration and warehouse inventory. Obravetta covers job management and adds customer acquisition as standard — a website builder, missed-call text back, automated follow-up, email and text marketing, review automation, a unified inbox and AI voice answering. On FieldEdge, marketing sits in a separate "Call for Pricing" add-on unless you're on Elite.
Customers, job history and invoices export as CSV and import in about an afternoon. Automations and pipeline stages get rebuilt because they don't transfer between platforms — on Contractor Pro we build those for you. The thing to check first is your FieldEdge contract end date, since the plans are annual memberships. If you run QuickBooks Desktop, confirm your accounting workflow on our side before you cancel, because that's FieldEdge's strongest feature and our weakest.
Fourteen days inside the real product, a published price, and no year-long commitment either way.
14-day free trial · No long-term contract · Cancel anytime
FieldEdge tier names, mobile app licence counts, add-on availability and "Call for Pricing" labels, annual membership and downgrade terms, the absence of a free trial, the warehouse inventory requirement and onboarding inclusions were taken from FieldEdge's own pricing page, verified October 2026. The QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation dates and the list of services that stop on unsupported versions are from Intuit's own QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy. Obravetta pricing from our own pricing page.
